This is another collection of nice nature photos with some entry-level commentary on technique and composition. John Shaw's Nature Photography Field Guide is a better overview, but Tharp's book is an enjoyable read, and the production values are pretty good. Unfortunately for me, I think that there is literally no information in this book that I haven't seen elsewhere. I seem to be at the point of diminishing returns in photography books .
